RIP JEANS -___-
It suppose to be a vintage look , hand customized, patched and repaired for fall. Honestly who the hell would where this? maybe a scarecrow!
Ub
Ub (Uflat) is named after “U”, which symbolizes You or Youth, and “Flat”, which recalls the flat symbol in music and a British apartment - defining the brand’s British urbanite style. Ub is a brand of Bean Pole, the Korean contemporary line that offers trendy products with a youth slant and a British sensibility. Ub fashion aims to satisfy the young professional who wants a stylish look while maintaining Bean Pole’s classic prepster heritage. Wish they had this Brand in NY or Jersey.
After a super secretive showing at Fashion Week that allowed no press coverage, the first images of Tom Ford's new Women's line have finally been released. The December issue of American Vogue features four pages of the designer posing alongside his designs for S/S 11. In the interview that accompanies, Ford expresses an objection to the way that modern technology allows fashion images to be over exposed before the clothes pictured can even be purchased. It has been six years since the designer left Gucci, the house that he reinvented and catapulted into the mainstream consciousness. Ford now designs for the customer who doesn't want to see a dress all over the red carpet before she can get her own hands on it. "My customer doesn't want to wear the same thing she saw on a starlet!," he explains in the interview. Ironically, Ford's personal aesthetic has never been more on trend. As shown in the new spread, the YSL alum's style fits right in with the many 70s references that we observed at the S/S 11 shows.
TREND ALERT
While baseball jackets are nothing new to celebrity wardrobes, a much more refined version has recently been seen at both events and premieres, as well as strolls around town. Cotton, wool flannel and even cashmere jackets are found without the expected letterman embroidery, embracing a sophisticated remix of a collegiate classic. Pieced leather or nylon sleeves and overall monochromatic styling help increase the classy quotient even further.
安昂
Aang "安昂" to me is far the coolest cartoon character ever since cartoons like Dragonball Z. If you don't agree, than too bad. His style is unique, lol umm yea his monk style. I want to get the boots he has they would go great with some Harems! He is a super centenarian at the age of 112. Aang represents hope, he travels to different tribes to bring peace among his people. He has a lighthearted personality and defeats his enemies with his wits, hes a trickster hero.

Monkey See Monkey Do
Some people try to follow what others do, "Monkey See Monkey Do". I understand there are certain trends but with any kind of creativity wheather it be Art, Music & Fashion. I believe one should express there passion with the essence they with-hold. No one will learn to love your craft unless you love it yourself, but how can you love something you did not create or have a mission to carry along with it. Be yourself and do what you believe in and desire, not by imitating what others may be doing but by being self made. Ask yourself: "What separates me from the others?" If you would like others to love your craft, try to realize that the only way to get love is by giving it love, that the more you give the more you will get, and the only way you can give it is to fill yourself up with it, until you & your craft become a magnet. Doing what you love feels far more good than you will if you only think about money. The beauty of life is that when you put love first, all the money you need to live a full life comes to you.

"Miss-education of a Barbie"
" My piece is not a 'diss' its a Dare" - Jasmine Mans
Poet Jasmine Mans took on a controversial artist in an amazing piece that spread through the internet and blog sites this week. The piece explored the career and actions of what MTV named one of the top 10 rappers of the decade Nicki Minaj. "Her "Barbie" image is an objectification of womanhood. How can we expect our male rappers to pay homage and respect to women when the voice that is representing us is tainted with sexual innuendos and “child’s play?” Jasmine stated. Jasmine has received a lot of love from this piece as well as hate, however I truly think the "hate" is a misunderstanding of what Jasmine is trying to convey. She isn't trying to put Nicki Minaj down nor is she diminishing the value of Nicki's talent. Jasmine is simply shedding light on someone who is held on a pedestal by urban society but should not by any means define what a women is or should be.
Jasmine Mans x Tyra Myricks piece coming soon, you thought we amazed the blogsites with our individual piece just wait for the collab. ART DEFINED.

One Chance
Many don't seem to understand the life I am now living, to be poetic and preach what I see... I'm in the prophecy to make a change in the world we are living in. Be wise don't get stuck in a whirl pool theres a better life than your own hood. I may not have the image the thug look but I was raised in the struggle pretty boy judged by his cover. Many are clueless of what I apprehended in my past... a bad lifestyle, imagine if I would've kept it? But now I'm someone different not the old me, this is the new me... past life lessons improved me. We only get one chance to live, make the best of it... Live as there is no tomorrow!
Your Feelings Are the Fuel
Imagine your thoughts and words as being like a rocket ship, and your feelings as the fuel. A rocket ship is a stationary vehicle that can't do anything without fuel, because the fuel is the power that lifts the rocket ship. It's the same with your thoughts and words. Your thoughts and words are vehicles that can't do anything without your feelings, because your feelings are the power of your thoughts and words!
